This French company, which is the exclusive international

licensee for Lacoste brand textiles and leather goods, has chosen FlexPLM™ for the optimization of its entire products development process.

Paris, April 17, 2012 - PTC (Nasdaq: PMTC) has announced that Devanlay, jewel of the French textiles industry, has chosen FlexPLM™, the product lifecycle management solution dedicated to the textile and clothing sector.

Devanlay is an international SME on a human scale. Licensed for the creation, manufacturing and distribution of Lacoste-brand clothing and leather goods, this French textiles and clothing company has gone from strength to strength since the launch in 1933, by René Lacoste and André Gilliers, of the famous L1212 polo shirt. Today, Devanlay has 15 production sites worldwide, including eight in France, for the international manufacturing and distribution of its products.

It is with a view to improving the performance of its products & collections creation process that Devanlay chose FlexPLM™ from PTC. The same software solution that is used by other major names in the sector will be the cornerstone of the CRISTAL- Collaborative Reach Information System for Tomorrow’s Assortments Lifecycle – project, and will enable:
  • Improved segmentation of its products offering for increased market share
  • Better management of its collection development deadlines
  • Better synchronization of all the teams, upstream and downstream

The FlexPLM™ implementation project, planned to take place in several phases as from February 2012, will enable Devanlay to reinforce its operational efficiency and organizational flexibility, and consequently help boost its sales.
