IPC Southbank, the upmarket women’s division of IPC Media,

announces the appointment of Anthony Thornton as digital editorial development director, Southbank fashion, expanding his current digital responsibilities within IPC with immediate effect.

In his new position, Thornton will report to Southbank managing director Jackie Newcombe and lead Southbank’s digital development across new and existing products in the fashion sector. Thornton will also continue in his current position as group digital editor, IPC Inspire. Thornton: “I am extremely excited to be taking up this fantastic new role. I look forward to working with the world-class premium brands and amazing digital talents in IPC Southbank.”

IPC Media produces over 60 iconic media brands, with print alone reaching almost 26 million UK adults, while the websites collectively reach over 14 million users every month. The upmarket women's division (IPC Southbank) comprises luxury fashion brands including Marie Claire and InStyle, lifestyle brands including woman&home and essentials and home interest brands including Ideal Home, Livingetc and housetohome.
