Visitors to Bubble London will be the first to discoverfuture

bestselling brands as the show reveals the winner of its Rising Star award at this weekend's event 16-17 June 2013, at the Business Design Centre, Islington.

As a hotbed
of new design talent the show launches its brand new Rising Star Award, which celebrates the best new brand launching its first wholesale collection for s/s 2014. Labels tipped for future success have been judged by a panel of industry experts on a number of factors including quality of product, marketing and innovation. The finalists selected are Miss Pois, Long Wave Apparel, Dimity Bourke, Milk and Rock, Skullduggery, Project Jelly, Brit Chic Signature, Michiko and Me, Miss Hall, Skribbies, Rockahula Kids and Jewel Rocks, with the winner announced on Sunday 16 June at the show.

Italian label Miss Pois is based on two characters, a blue fox and yellow fish, and includes accessories such as brooches and buckles designed to be attached and clipped to chic dresses. Long Wave Apparel will offer sun-seeking boys and girls fashionable sun protective swimwear made from the finest Italian quick-dry fabrics, while Australian label Dimity Bourke will debutits vibrant collection of handmade and customdesigned dresses, nightwear and tees, all with a bohemian theme and eclectic sense of style. Also in the running for the covetable award is Portuguese label Milk and Rock, which will debut its Indian Winter collection. Inspired by the great North American Indian Tribes, the range of shirts for boys and girls are designed to bring out the rebel spirit in children, while combining both the classical with the latest styles and trends.

UK label Skullduggery will unveil its unisex collection, which is built around a core of bright and beautiful colours and includes mittens, one-pieces and hand-knitted booties for babies, and tees, sunglasses, hoodies and leggings for toddlers. British label Project Jelly will showcase a colourful collection of jelly shoes and wellies with a contribution of the profits supporting charity Mencap, while fellow UK label Brit Chic Signature will showcase a retro-inspired collection consisting of A-line and Peter Pan collar dresses, separates and hand knitted garments.

Also flying the flag for homegrown talentis Michiko and Me which uses Liberty art fabrics to make a luxurious yet ethically produced collection for babies and children aged 0-8 years and MissHall will showcase a range of girlswear in luxurious fabrics and classic designs offering the perfect balance between sophisticated style and wearability. Footwear label Skribbies will debut its innovative collection of shoes designed for children to customise with their own drawings. Magic pens and monsterstickers allow children to add their own personal touch to their footwear.

Quirky accessories can be seen by Rockahula Kids, which will debut a range of hair accessories and jewellery designed in vivid prints and splashes of colour and Jewel Rocks will showcase a collection of bracelets and necklaces in vivid shades for boho boys and girls, all handmade by artisansin Bali. The collection weaves together threads with tribal beading, wood, silver and Jewel Rocks’ trademark tassels and charms to create cute and funky designs for free-spirited and fashion-savvy kids.

As well as fabulous collections, the show will host activities for visitors both young and old to enjoy. Renowned designer Donna Wilson will create a wonderland installation at the entrance to the show, while on the plaza, visitors can rest tired feet and enjoy the comfortable furnishings from 20age with its collection of historical pieces, upholstered in new sumptuous fabrics. Anorak Magazine will create a colouring corner with a number of playful activitiesto enjoy and tiny hands can be treated to a non-toxic, water-based manicure courtesy of the Little Bumini nail bar.

It wouldn't be summer without a scoop of ice cream and La Gelatiera, one of London's best ice cream parlours will be serving up natural Italian ice cream at the show. Visitors can also watch the live photo shoot for CWB magazine, and doting dad’s will be able to keep a souvenir for Father’s Day on Sunday, as the Bubble team will be on hand with a Polaroid camera to capture those father-and-childmoments.
