During London Fashion Week, Fashion Diversity returned to the off schedule. In its third year

Mahogany Model Management and Untold Design CIC presented the latest designs at The Islington Metal Works featuring an eclectic program of fashion shows and a student / graduate competition brief that saw young designers stage their take on this year’s brief ‘More than a Roof'.

The event kicked off with Fashion Diversity’s VIP Gala awards evening for press. Pieces were on show by designers such as Mong Hsuan Jiang, Nia’s World, Arif Khan, AAMAA Couture, Blaq by Sacha James and Chichi London as well as a short award ceremony. The catwalk show presented an eclectic mix of styles from creations that infused African print with contemporary chic to designs that employed futuristic prints on silk with leather.

Fashion Diversity launched in September 2008 at London Museum and aims to provide a platform for showcasing emerging designers alongside more established designers. Following this season's show three designers Jolaby, Patrick Kevin and Adebayo Jones were presented with awards to celebrate their success within the industry over the years.
