DKNY is fashion’s most prolific tweeter

Stylophane, the interactive online marketing agency,

which has been keeping stats on fashion Facebook pages has released Twitter stats for February, showing that DKNY PR Girl with just shy of 400,000 Twitter followers tweeted the most over the course of the month.

Donna Karan’s International Senior Vice President of Global Communications, Aliza Licht aka DKNY PR Girl clocked up the most tweets for a fashion brand, with 1,105, equating to three times the amount of tweets from her closest rival on the list, fashion brand Kate Spade, who tweeted just 365 times over the same period.

However, DKNY only saw an increased growth of 1.5 per cent in Twitter followers; whereas Kate Spade’s has seen a 15.6 per cent rise to just over 211,000 Twitter followers.

Other fashion brands in the top 10 fashion tweeters include: Betsey Johnson, BCBG Maxazria, Christian Louboutin, Michael Kors, Dolce & Gabbana, and Diana von Furstenberg. The top British fashion brand was Burberry, ranked 13th on the list with 107 tweets.
