Doddle, the new click-and-collect service, is set to open at over 300 transport huns

over the next 3 years, creating over 3,000 new jobs.

The click-and-collect service was created by Lloyd Dorfman, the founder of Travelex and Network Rail, who will be equal shareholders in the new company. The two founders will be investing 24 million pounds in Doddle to ensure its nationwide rollout by the end of the year.

A number of fashion retailers, including Asos, New Look and TM Lewin have signed up with the new click-and-collect service as its first founding partners, which will allow their customers to collect and return online orders to Doddle stores.

Certain Doddle stores in select locations, including those in London Waterloo and Brighton Stations, will also offer changing rooms for shoppers who have ordered clothing online. Doddle is offering its services to every retailer on the high street as well as online, as well as to any mail carriers to ensure the stores become hubs for virtually any mail collection.

After its trial run at Milton Keynes railway station, in a 2,800 square foot store, Doddle aims to open 40 stores in prime locations before the end of the year. The majority of the stores are expected to range between 1,500 square meters and 2,000 square meters, however unlike other click-and-collect hubs, Doddle stores will have staff in store to help customers with any inquiries.

Dorfman is said to be one of the country's most successful entrepreneurs, transforming Travelex into the world's biggest retail foreign exchange service, prior to its sale last month. His new venture will be run by Tim Robinson, who has been named CEO of Doddle. Robinson is said to have been overseeing Doddle development for the past few months and joins Doddle from his former role as managing director, Sussex for the Network Rail.
