Dolce and Gabbana opens first UK airport store

Italian fashion house Dolce & Gabbana has opened its first

ever UK airport boutique at London Heathrow’s Terminal 5.

The 1076 square foot store houses a range of accessories for men and women such as shoes, bags, sunglasses, and small leather goods, and features an interior to emulate the Dolce & Gabbana world with its signature furnishings including basalt flooring, black carpets and a baroque chandelier.

The opening forms part of Heathrow’s investment in its shops and facilities and it has introduced several new premium brands to the airport following research and feedback from passengers.

Heathrow Retail Concessions Director Muriel Zingraff said: "We are really pleased to be able to announce the opening of the Dolce & Gabbana store at Terminal 5. Heathrow has built an extensive portfolio of luxury brands, making the airport a shopping destination in its own right. Dolce and Gabbana is the perfect addition to Heathrow's luxury offering."
