Former Fashion Fringe winner’s Fyodor Golan, helmed by

Fyodor Podgorny and Golan Frydman, are among the shortlisted designers at this year’s Dorchester Collection Fashion Prize.

The award, founded in 2010 to discover emerging fashion talent, has named the fashion duo along with Brazilian designer Barbara Casasola, London Fashion Week designer Emilia Wickstead and Central Saint Martins’ graduate Huishan Zhang as the finalists for this year’s 25,000 pound prize.

The finalists were chosen from ready-to-wear, couture and accessories designers based in the UK, France, Italy, Switzerland and the US, with the only entry criteria being that each designer had an established brand that had been running a minimum of two years and a maximum of five.

The grand final will take place on October 29 at The Dorchester in London, where each designer will stage a catwalk show of their latest collections, before a panel of judges, which includes designer Daniella Helayel, editor and stylist Caroline Issa and Stephen Jones decide on the winner.

Along with the cash prize of 25,000 pounds to help develop the designer's label, the winner will also receive one-to-one mentoring from industry leaders, as well as a two-night stay in a Dorchester Collection hotel.

Previous winners include Thomas Tait, Anndra Neen and Augustin Teboul.
