Dorothy Perkins debuts in India on Jabong

Arcadia fashion brand Dorothy Perkins is debuting in India exclusively through e-tailer Jabong.com, one

of Indian’s popular online stores. Launching with the Spring/Summer 2014 collection, Dorothy Perkins will unveil their collaboration on March 13 during Lakmé Fashion Week in Mumbai.

Commenting on the collaboration, Arun Chandra Mohan, founder and CEO of Jabong.com said: “Our mission at Jabong.com is to bring the Indian consumer to global fashion by giving them access to trendy international high-street brands such as Dorothy Perkins. Instead of planning shopping trips to London, international fashion is now a click away and available exclusively on our website.

“We’re very excited to be leaders of this changing fashion revolution in this country and kick off our collaboration with Dorothy Perkins with a fitting runway debut for the first time in India on Lakmé Fashion Week. This is just the beginning of a bigger expansion plan that includes launching many other international labels.”

Malcolm Storey, Dorothy Perkins managing director, added: “The brand is set to create a strong fashion offering for the Indian market. We will offer the best of British high street fashion by introducing our latest collections to Indian women.”

According Jabong, the website offers more than 1,000 international brands from sports labels such as Adidas and Reebok to high street names including Levi’s, Benetton, Vero Moda and Jack & Jones.
