Milan-based fashion label Dsquared2 is expanding its brand with the launch of a childrenswear

line, which is set to debut for spring/summer 2014.

The brand has signed a five-year licensing agreement with Brave Kid, the childrenswear manufacturer under Renzo Rosso’s Only the Brave Group umbrella, which also produces the John Galliano and Diesel kidswear lines, to create an apparel collection for both boys and girls.

The line, which will be designed by the brand’s creative directors, Dean and Dan Caten will include apparel and accessories for boys and girls aged from newborn to 14 years old and will be unveiled along with the spring/summer 2014 collection.

Alongside the apparel collection will be a children’s footwear line that will be produced and distributed by Andrea Montelpare, a shoe manufacturer based in Fermo, Italy.

The collection will be available at the brand's flagship stores in Milan, Paris and Tokyo, as well as select department and specialty stores worldwide.
