eBay, the world’s largest online marketplace,

has collaborated with seven designers for Christmas 2012 to launch the ‘Holiday Collective’.

The limit-edition gift collection features more than forty pieces designed by fashion designers Chris Benz, Billy Reid, Ruffian, and Tibi, as well as statement jewellery from Fallon, home décor from Jonathan Adler, and tech accessories from Steven Alan.

The capsule line launched this week and the gift range includes silk pyjamas, embellished jewellery, ties, travel accessories, t-shirts, scarves, and Christmas jumpers.

Commenting on the collection, Carrie Bienkowski, Head of Fashion UK, said: “The eBay Holiday Collective marks the first time we have collaborated with designers in such a way, creating bespoke, limited-edition gifts exclusively for eBay shoppers. eBay is more than just an auction house, it’s a shopping destination like no other.”

The designer collaboration follows eBay’s recently announced partnership with the British Fashion Council, where the auction site is sponsoring the Fashion Forward initiative which supports emerging British fashion talent, kicking off at London Fashion Week this September.

The collection will be available globally for two weeks at ‘Buy it Now’ prices all under 100 Pounds.
