Ellen DeGeneres to launch lifestyle brand

American talkshow host Ellen DeGeneres is launching a fashion and lifestyle label in partnership with brand development company

Burch Creative Capital.

Burch Creative is spear-headed by Christopher Burch, who is best known as being the co-founder of Tory Burch LLC along with his ex-wife fashion designer Tory Burch.

The company invests in lifestyle brands and retail sectors and have teamed up with DeGeneres to launch a lifestyle collection called E.D.

The collection will feature a variety of product categories including ready-to-wear, accessories, and homeware starting with the launch of a capsule line of direct-to-consumer home items for holiday 2014, followed by a full collection launch for spring 2015.

A website will also be developed, with products available through wholesale and retail channels as well as direct to consumer.
