Fabrizio Cardinali is Lancel CEO

French leather goods firm Lancel has named Fabrizio Cardinali its new CEO, effective October

1. Lancel is owned by Richemont Fashion and Accessories.

Cardinali, 43, previously worked as sales and marketing director for Dolce & Gabbana, after working as D&G’s Worldwide Director for six years.

Prior to that, Cardinali held a number of senior international positions at Diesel and Levi Strauss & Co., working in different countries, where he held a variety of titles. He was responsible for repositioning the brands and global business development.

“Fabrizio brings business expertise, industry insight and a proven track record in global brand building which will complement the creative direction established by Leonello Borghi,” said Marty Wikstrom, CEO of Richemont Fashion and Accessories.
