Fashion East line-up announced

Fashion East, the non-profit initiative that supports emerging designers, is sticking with

the same trio designers Ashley Williams, Ryan Lo and Claire Barrow for its spring/summer 2014 showcase.

The three emerging design talents were once again chosen by a panel of experts, which included founder Lulu Kennedy, following the success of last season and due to the “huge potential” the trio have.

"We chose to give these three designers another season as we felt strongly they have huge potential and we wanted to really show our support for them and belief in them," said Fashion East founder Lulu Kennedy. "Their very different aesthetics and collections make for a great group show, plus, as people they are just the cutest trio imaginable!"

Panel member, Vogue fashion editor, Francesca Burns added: “I am very happy to see Ashley Williams, Claire Barrow and Ryan Lo return to Fashion East this season. Each designer has so much to offer and it is very exciting to watch them develop season by season under the Fashion East umbrella.

“This is such an important part of London Fashion Week with an incredible legacy and I can't wait to see what's next for these guys.”

The SS14 showcase marks the scheme’s 27th consecutive catwalk show, which will once again be sponsored by Topshop and held within the Topshop venue during London Fashion Week.

Previous Fashion East winners have included Henry Holland, Louise Gray, Meadham Kirchoff, Roksanda Ilincic, Gareth Pugh and Simone Rocha.
