Fashion jeweller on the rise

Since winning runner up at the CFDA / Vogue Fashion Fund Awards in 2011 in New York,

fashion jeweler Eddie Borgo has seen his star rise.

Borgo launched his collection in 2009 and is part of the new generation of fashion jewellery designers like Tom Binns, Pamela Love and Delfina Delettrez.

Eddie Borgo's sleek geometric shapes and sharp designs find inspiration from the New York punk underground while respecting the preciousness of jewelry with the finest materials such as white gold, pink and yellow. Soon Borgo will launch its first pre-collection, composed of seven pieces in pink gold.

Next month Eddie Borgo will partner with J Crew, a collaboration that will be present at the upcoming CFDA / Vogue Fashion Fund Awards.

The mainline collection is a study in traditions, American costume jewellery and rock and roll history. Borgo has previously worked with designers Marchesa, Proenza Schoulder and Jason Wu.
