Fashion names to be honoured by the Queen

The Queen’s annual Birthday Honours List has been unveiled

and My Wardrobe founder Sarah Curran will receive an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) for her services to the fashion industry.

Curran who founded the online retailer, which sells designer labels in 2006, has rapidly grown the business into a global enterprise. Currently the luxury online retailer operates in 198 countries and has offices in London, New York, Sydney, Dubai and Oslo.

Other fashion names on the list include, fashion editor Hilary Alexander, who will be awarded an OBE (Order of the British Empire) for her services to fashion journalism, and editor Dylan Jones also named OBE in the list, has been recognised for his services to the publishing and British fashion industry, which has included editing men’s fashion magazine GQ as well as chairing London’s menswear showcase, London Collections: Men.
