Fashion Scout names Merit Award Winner

Talent launch pad, Fashion Scout, has named Xiao Li as the winner of the Merit Award for Autumn/Winter 2014.

The London College of Fashion and Royal College of Art graduate will receive a fully sponsored catwalk show and exhibition space at Fashion Scout during London Fashion Week, as well as within the platform’s Paris showroom during Paris Fashion Week.

Li took part in the platform’s Graduate Showcase last season and wowed the panel with her innovative knitwear designs. Since graduating, Li has also been awarded the Diesel Award at International Talent Support and announced as a finalist for the H&M Design Award.

Martyn Roberts, director and co-founder of Fashion Scout said: "From the moment I first saw her collection, I was amazed and am thrilled to have Xiao Li on board."

Li will showcase her Autumn/Winter 2014 collection during London Fashion Week at Fashion Scout’s Freemasons’ Hall in February.
