London-based talent launch pad, Vauxhall Fashion Scout, has officially opened

its applications for London and Paris Fashion Week.

Fashion Scout is calling on up-and-coming designers to apply for its Ones to Watch platform, which has helped to launch the careers a number of designers including Eudon Choi, Hermione de Paula, Phoebe English, and David Longshaw, as well as its coveted Merit Award.

The Merit Award, which is only open to womenswear designers, is a scheme worth 25,000 pounds over three seasons and includes a fully sponsored catwalk show and a 1,000 pound bursary, to help propel the designer in the first season.

Applications, which are open until May 8, are also being accepted for designers wishing to showcase their collections with a catwalk, presentation or salon show, or within the exhibition at London Fashion Week.
