Fashion tops online searches

Online fashion searches are one of the fastest growing product searches during October

compared to a year earlier according to shopping comparison site Shopping.com.

Searches for tablets topped the list for the third month in a row with a 372% increase, year-on-year, but fashion was hot on its heels.

Fashion proved a popular search area for consumers in the month with searches for handbags and wallets increasing by 171%, clothing by 47%, lingerie by 37%, shoes by 20% and cosmetics by 20%. Sunglasses also saw a growth of 336% as the winter season began.
