ITE Moda Ltd, the UK fashion trade show organizer behind
Scoop International, Moda and Bubble London, announced in press release information about a new partnership for the development of the new fashion trade show, The Hub. The launch event for this new trade show occurred in August, at the Asia World Expo in Hong Kong and showcased over 100 global labels, such as Desigual and Adidas – Y3, drawing a number of visitors from the growing markets in the area.Since its launch, ITE Moda has obtained a 20 percent share in the trade show and plan to develop The Hub as the ‘number one platform’ for labels and brands looking to expand their company to China, Hong Kong and the surrounding area. The Hub co-founder, Peter Caplowe said “Asia is the world’s biggest growth story right now, and Asian retailers have never been keener to find out about international fashion brands. Bringing our knowledge of the branded fashion market within the region together with the industry knowledge and show expertise of ITE Moda means we’ll be able to create the best possible platform for brands wanting to do business in the region.”
Managing director Colette Tebbutt, who will be spearheading the new partnership added, “This latest investment highlights further our commitment to ensuring future expansion for forward-thinking fashion brands. Premium fashion is currently one of the fastest growing areas of the global women’s and menswear markets and we look forward to working with those brands who are positioning themselves to take full advantage of this dynamic sector.”
The next instalment of The Hub is set to take place on the 25th to the 27th of February 2014, and has been added to the list of international shows for which British brands and labels can ask for government aid to participate.
