Fashion and lifestyle brand Fat Face has upsized their flagship at the WestQuay shopping centre in Southampton,

to help “showcase” the full effect of the brand.

The new flagship, a 620 metre squared unit, is double the size of the former store and is now in a more prominent position in the shopping centre, adjacent to Hollister. The increase in space will allow the brand to stock its full range of clothing and accessories for men, women and children.

Commenting on the new store, Simon Greene, Fat Face retail and property director said: “WestQuay has always been one of our strongest performing stores. Consequently, we have been working with Hammerson for some time to create an opportunity to upsize. Our new store is not only in a great location, it has allowed us to showcase the Fat Face brand to great effect.”

Sarah Mander, assistant director for retail leasing at Hammerson, which owns WestQuay, added: “Fat Face’s decision to upsize is the latest in a series of significant changes to WestQuay’s retail offer in the last twelve months.

“Fat Face makes a key contribution to WestQuay’s fashion line-up, but combined with the other new additions such as White Stuff, Superdry and Boux Avenue, we have a critical mass that is unmatched anywhere else in the catchment.”
