Young fashion brand Firetrap has re-signed distributor

33 Joints as its global footwear licensee, two years after terminating the agreement at the end of autumn 2010.

Fashion footwear specialists, 33 Joints, formerly known as Fresh Footwear, held the licence to manufacture and distribute Firetrap footwear for eight years, and the new license coincides with Firetrap turning twenty years old next year.

Antony Nathan, Managing Director of 33 Joints said: “Over the last 10 years we have designed many iconic footwear pieces which created a niche in the market for casual hybrid products.  We are looking forward to continuing this journey.”

33 Joints Sales Director Graeme Nichol added: “We are very excited to have Firetrap back on board.  We will work hard in order to get back the high profile accounts that we sold to previously, both in the UK and internationally and re-instate its position as a leader of its category.”

Firetrap Footwear will sit within 33 Joints current stable of brands, which includes Blowfish Malibu and Feud, and they will be introducing Firetrap footwear into the market from Spring/Summer 2013.
