First Global Kids Fashion Week unveiled

Premium online childrenswear retailer Alexandalexa.com has

announced the first ever Global Kids Fashion Week to put a spotlight on “premium kids’ fashion”, in partnership with children’s charity Kids Company.

Taking place in March 2013, the event will feature catwalk shows and performances from both established and emerging designers, as well as activities for children and parents, such as workshops from the V&A Museum of Childhood and a performance from the London Children’s Ballet.

The luxury fashion event will include two main shows, an exclusive media and VIP event previewing the autumn 13 kidswear trends, and a second ticketed event in aid of Kids Company for the public showcasing looks for spring 2013 from AlexandAlexa’s brand portfolio.

Global Kids Fashion Week will be mirrored worldwide with similar events to take place in the Middle East, Australia and the USA. The full schedule will be announced at a later date.
