December 14 will see Dr Martens open its seventh UK store,

with the brand’s first ever stand-alone store in Scotland. The pop-up store will be located in Glasgow’s St Enoch centre and at 2,000 sq ft it will be the largest site in the footwear brands store portfolio, sitting alongside its stores in Covent Garden, Spitalfields, Westfield Stratford, Cardiff, Leeds, and Liverpool One.

The ‘look and feel’ of the pop-up store will reflect the working heritage of the Dr. Martens brand through the use of concrete flooring, exposed ceilings and industrial lighting. The store will carry the full collection of footwear, clothing and accessories, which will be displayed on distressed oak-clad tables and metal industrial shelving. Consumers will be able to try-on product whilst seated on a host of chesterfield armchairs upholstered in Dr. Martens favourite ‘oxblood’ leather.

Dr Martens are famous for their signature yellow stitching, grooved sole and heel-loop, and over the past 50 years the shoes haven’t changed. Its recent First and Forever campaign, which plays on remembering your first pair of Dr Martens, features model Agyness Deyn.
