Forever 21 opens at Lakeside

American fashion retailer Forever 21 has opened its sixth UK store in shopping centre

Lakeside in Essex.

The store spans across more than 28,600 square feet of retail space, in a space previously occupied by Topshop and Topman prior to their relocation to a new flagship within the centre, and the fashion retailer has added an additional two levels to make it a three-storey flagship.

Commenting on the store, Linda Chang, global marketing director for Forever 21, said: "Forever 21 is always looking for unique retail spaces to complement the brand. We are excited to open a store at Lakeside shopping centre where we will be able to offer all of the latest trends to Lakeside’s most fashionable shoppers."

In addition to the arrival of Forever 21, Specsavers also recently chose Lakeside for its first regional shopping centre store, which opened in November, and footwear retailer Schuh opened one of its first Schuh Kids format in Lakeside the month.
