Fraser Balgowan launching exclusive line with Saks

Luxury Scottish fashion label, Fraser Balgowan, has been

chosen to launch an exclusive collection with US department store, Saks Fifth Avenue, which will debut for autumn/winter 2012.

Fraser Balgowan’s luxury bags and accessories are inspired by the Highlands of Scotland and all its materials are sourced directly from these wild and natural lands. The exclusive collection for Saks will be made-to-order deer hide and bridle leather accessories, which will feature four sporting tweeds that are exclusive to Saks. The autumn/winter 2012 launch in America will coincide with the European launch in London.

“We were introduced to designer Fiona Fraser, at an event we held at our New York store celebrating Scottish product last November,” said Tom Ott, Senior Vice President and General Merchandise Manager of Menswear, Home, Foods and Gifts. “The collection of bags showcases heritage, provenance and quality. We are looking forward to offering the collection to customers who will be able to place custom orders through in-store trunk shows at our flagship New York store and via the Fifth Avenue Club for our VIP clients.”
