Fred Perry acquires Lavenham

Fashion and sportswear brand Fred Perry has acquired British firm Lavenham, which
manufactures quilted jackets and accessories.Established in 1969, Lavenham is known for its equestrian and country lifestyle products, and 75 percent of its sales are received from international markets, an area in which Fred Perry has said that it “intends to build on under its ownership”.
Nicky Santomauro will continue in her role as managing director of Lavenham, and the manufacturing of Lavenham product will remain at its current factory in Sudbury, Suffolk.
John Flynn, chief executive of Fred Perry said: “We are delighted to welcome the Lavenham business and team into our group. The Lavenham brand shares many similar characteristics with Fred Perry, and we are excited about working with Nicky and her team to help further develop the international markets for this flourishing brand.”
