Danish model Freja Beha Erichsen is collaborating with

LA-based Mother Denim on a capsule collection, which will benefit Médecins Sans Frontières, the international medical humanitarian organisation known as Doctors Without Borders.

Designed with Mother Denim’s co-founders Lela Becker and Tim Kaeding, the capsule range includes a slim, skinny jean, a moto-inspired pant, a printed jean inspired by agate and geode crystals, a pair of faux leather pants, a pair of high-waisted denim cut-offs and a chambray shirt – all pieces which are said to reflect the model’s “off-duty” style.

Commenting on the collaboration, Erichsen said: “It's been a pleasure to work with Tim and Lela, the founders of Mother, in this collaboration to raise some much-needed funds for Doctors Without Borders. We've created some beautiful jeans that feel snug and comfortable, yet durable and empowering.”

The collection is set to roll out across high-end US retailers and online in September, with ten percent of retail sales going to charitable organisation Doctors Without Borders, which supplies medical care in war-torn countries.

Erichsen isn’t the only model to design denim, American supermodel Karlie Kloss teamed up with Frame Denim earlier this year to create a line of 40-inch leg jeans for tall women.
