FTCT appoints its first ambassadors

The Fashion & Textile Children’s Trust, which provides grants to disadvantaged children
whose parents or carers work in fashion retailing, has appointed its first-ever ambassadors as part of the charities growth strategy.Linda Laderman, who has been running her eponymous PR and marketing agency for almost 30 years, Brendan Dorrian, the head of business development at Fawaz Alhokair Fashion, and Lucy Harris, who is head of retail practise for UK at Heidrick & Struggles will all provide expertise, as well as contacts, to help the FTCT’s reach grow.
“This new role is a perfect way to harness the energy and expertise of those in the industry who are keen to get involved with the charity, while growing a band of loyal supporters who can continue to help FTCT grow,” explains Anna Pangbourne, FTCT director. “Our first ambassadors will be sharing their skills in PR and business development, while introducing FTCT to new executive contacts.”
The ambassadors will work alongside FTCT’s board of trustees, whose members include chairman, David Carter-Johnson.
