CEO Gallery has been extremely productive, that much is clear. Just when you think the limit has been reached, he steps forward with new ideas. With 30 major new names, the collection of labels might be broader than ever, though this is not the only reason to visit the trade fair. The catwalk show scene has acquired legendary status, and it is also remarkable in that the entire fair and the CFW are powered by wind energy.

Diesel, Kitsuné, PEdAL ED, Asger Juel Larsen, Max.Tan, Nina Skarra, Camo and Numero 10 are just a small selection of the famous names that will be making their debut at the Gallery this year. Together with 150 well-known Scandinavian labels and 150 international labels, they might well form the most extensive and exclusive collection of brand names in the world.

Many Innovations

This season, a number of new developments are taking place at the trade fair. For example, the Gallery floor can be viewed online for the first time. By June, a selection of the 350 collections will be made available online for trade fair visitors to admire. This is an exciting new option. In addition, the CFW organization announced its collaboration with the Paris Trade Show WHO’S NEXT PRÊT-A-PORTER PARIS, where a single registration provides access to more than 4000 (!) labels. The Gallery will open two new spaces this season: a lounge area with Bang & Olufsen music and French Connection Cocktail Bar, as well as an enormous basketball court in collaboration with an international sportswear label.

Catwalk Show Scene - Max Tan, Singapore

The Gallery catwalk show scene has attained legendary status. This year, 11 shows from six different countries will be presented, including French Connection and BIBI CHEMNITZ. The most surprising and promising newcomer of the season is designer Max Tan from Singapore. Tan broke into the European market in 2010 and was almost immediately discovered by Vogue Paris, with Vogue Japan, Surface and ELLE following closely behind. In 2010, Max Tan was runner up in the China Fashion Creation Contest. A name to watch, in other words!

In order to add substance to the international aspect of the fair, as well as hold service levels to the highest standards, the Gallery has hired staff from various countries, including Finland, France, Sweden, Russia, England, the Netherlands, China, Denmark and Italy. And, finally, an interesting side note: as with previous editions, Gallery is 100% powered by wind energy and is entirely CO² neutral.

These are impressive developments all around. In our opinion, everybody involved with the fashion industry should visit this exciting event in the Danish capital. For this reason, Copenhagen is offering visitors to the CFW two overnight stays at a 3* hotel in Copenhagen for free.

Those who are still not convinced of the significance of this high-calibre fashion event are invited to come over and experience it for themselves...
