Scandinavian design is still going strong! In fact: Copenhagen has

developed into the 2nd Trade Show city of the world and it is even claimed that there is nowhere else in the world that organises the famous Fashion Week as well as the Danish capital. The Gallery International Fashion Fair is in itself reason enough to travel to Denmark from the 9th to 11th of August! All leading Scandinavian brands can be found under one roof.

Gallery is one of the few fairs which still experiences growth with every edition. The previous winter edition counted no less than 11,465 visitors; which included buyers from Liberty, Harvey Nichols, Barneys NYC, ASOS, Net-a-Porter and Collette. "There was a positive feeling at Gallery this time, but it will even get better next edition!" Was the clear statement from CEO Christian Gregersen. "We already have a, far too long, list of brands that would like to exhibit in August and the visiting buyers spoke very positively about the mix of design driven brands at Gallery". So that’s promising!

Catwalk paradise
With a waiting list as long as your arm you can readily assume that the collections in the up and coming edition have once more been compiled selectively and with the utmost of care. Alongside collections from the famous Scandinavian brands, such as Rika, By Marlene Birger, NN07, Peter Jensen and Bruuns Bazar, you will also find international design including Maison Scotch, R59th, Lee Jeans and Fred Perry. Once more there will also be the opportunity to attend spectacular shows. There are more shows during this up and coming edition than ever before, for the first time more than 50 brands will show their collections on the now highly popular catwalk, including French Connection, Noa Noa and Peter Jensen.

In short…. the first reports are extremely promising, so stay tuned!
