Gap has revealed via Twitter that it is collaborating with Kate Spade and Jack Spade on a holiday collection for its Gap Kids line.

The retailer tweeted: “The secret's out! Announcing @katespadeny & @jackspadeny for #GapKids this November.”

The fashion and lifestyle designer brands follow in the footsteps of Diane von Furstenberg and Stella McCartney, both of which have designed collections with Gap for its kids line. The collaboration will mark Kate Spade’s first venture into childrenswear.

No further details have been released about what pieces will be included in the holiday collection, just that it will be limited edition and will be hitting Gap Kids stores in the UK, America, Canada, France, Hong Kong and Japan, as well as the retailer’s website from November.

The partnership is the latest in designer collaboration news this week, Swedish retail giant H&M announced it was teaming up with Alexander Wang, then Banana Republic tapped Roland Mouret for a capsule collection and Mary Katrantzou confirmed she was collaborating with Adidas.
