Gehrich launches in the UK

Australian luxury label Gehrich is looking to bring its “stand against fast fashion” to the UK with its autumn/winter 2014 collection,

 after opening up their online  store to UK customers.

The collection, which focuses on classic outerwear pieces, has been designed to not only be timeless but also directional and created using a sustainable ethos in the hope that the pieces would be worn from many seasons.

Gehrich, creative director and co-founder Samantha Gehrich said: “We’re thrilled to be introducing Gehrich to the UK style and fashion savvy this winter – the inclement weather of the region makes British streets the perfect place to showcase our luxurious outerwear.

“We don’t subscribe to a ‘mass production’ model, and each piece is created with quality and sustainability in mind, so anyone investing in the Melbourne collection can be sure that they’re infused with personality and made to last.”

Since launching in Australia in July this year it has quickly gained a lot of attention for its ‘Melbourne Collection’, which features pieces for women and men, including its directional Northcote design and tailored Carlton coat.

In addition to launching a UK online store, the brand is also seeking retail stockists for 2015 for its collection. Prices range from 300 to 850 pounds for the limited edition pieces.
