Giorgio Armani extends partnership with Fossil

Watches and accessories label Fossil has announced the extension of its
global watch licensing agreement with Giorgio Armani, through to 2023.The Armani group first signed its initial agreement with Fossil in 1997, to design, create and distribute watches under the Emporio Armani label. “We are very proud of our longstanding history with the Armani group and extremely pleased to extend our partnership for another 10 years,” commented Kosta Kartsotis, chief executive officer of Fossil group.
“Our history with the Armani group runs deep and this global licensing agreement will allow us to continue to leverage our strengths in design, innovation, production and global distribution to further grow the Armani brand and extensive line of timepieces.”
Over the past few years, the agreement between the two groups has grown to include the addition of jewelry in 2002, watches under the Armani Exchange (A/X) label in 2008 and an exclusive collection of timepieces for the Emporio Armani Swiss made label, which launched earlier this year.
