Givenchy names first US president

Givenchy has appointed Devon Pike, former chief executive of De Beers, as the label’s first US president. The role, part 

of the brand’s plans to expand their worldwide business, will see Pike report into Sebastian Suhl, the luxury label's CEO.

Pike joined the label in December from De Beers, another LVMH-owned brand, where she has been the North American CEO since 2011. Prior to De Beers, Pike was at Juicy Couture, and held various retail, digital and business development roles, including being the SVP general merchandise manager for North America and the SVP of digital.

Pike was credited for launching the digital business over at Juicy Couture, and prior to that at Ralph Lauren she helped launch the now-defunct Rugby Ralph Lauren retail concept.
