Global Kids Fashion Week confirms new brands

The first ever Global Kids Fashion Week takes place today

and tomorrow in London and the organisers AlexandAlexa, the global online style destination for kids, has added further designers to the line-up including Oscar de la Renta and Roksanda Ilincic.

The showcase takes place at the Freemasons’ Hall and will include two shows, which will also feature designers including Paul Smith Junior, Junior Gaultier, Chloé, Little Marc Jacobs, SuperTrash Girls, Roberto Cavalli, Fendi, Missoni, Marni, John Galliano, Juicy Couture, Wildfox, Tommy Hilfiger, Nike, and Diesel.

The first show taking place today is exclusive for media and will showcase the latest autumn/winter 2013 trends from leading childrenswear labels, while the sold-out public showcase on Wednesday will feature spring/summer 2013 looks from the AlexandAlexa brand portfolio.

As well as runway shows, the event will also feature activities for children and parents, including a ‘mini manicure’ bar run by GKFW partner, LittleBU, an interactive Blogger Lounge with the latest technology from Dell, and a photobooth from AlexandAlexa.

There will also be a charity auction for Kids Company, GKFW’s charity partner, with bids open to the general public online at www.gkidsfw.auction-bid.org.
