Gola adds boardwear brands to portfolio

Sportswear and apparel brand Gola, which is owned

by branded footwear business Jacobson Group, has strengthened its clothing division with the acquisition of established boardwear brands Dudeskin and Babeskin from Skipton Leisure for an undisclosed amount.

In addition to the new brands, which will form part of Gola’s clothing division; the sportswear brand also announced the appointment of Andrew Rhodes as Commercial Manager. Previously a director at Skipton Leisure, Rhodes will be responsible for growing the brand’s clothing arm with key multiple and independent retailers.

Rhodes will also be drawing on the brand’s key strengths to develop three distinctive Gola clothing collections. With core essential sporting pieces for boys and men, performance and lifestyle attire for women under the Gola Active brand, as well as stylised Gola Classics options alongside a bespoke service.
