Traditional British shoemaker Grenson revealed plans to open a new

store at a Lambs Conduit Street. The store is set to open early next year and will be next to the new J.Crew men’s wear store, which opened last month.

It will be the third store that the shoemakers open in London, with other stores located in Shoreditch and on Liverpool Street. Grenson, who is known for its handmade leather shoes, will offer both the full men’s and women’s collections in the new 1,286 square foot store.

The owner and creative director at Grenson, Tim Little, commented in a press statement, “We are delighted to be opening a shop on Lambs Conduit Street, we love the other brands on the street and feel that we compliment what they do. This is our biggest shop to date and it will give us the opportunity to do events, bespoke and many other things that we haven't been able to do in our smaller shops.”

Josephine de Castro, associate partner at Farebrother real estate advisors, commented: “Grenson will be a great addition to Lambs Conduit Street, which over ten years has developed into one of London’s most desirable retail addresses. We are aware that the right tenant-mix is essential in retaining this essence, and are delighted to welcome Grenson, a brand renowned for its quality, heritage and style.”

Grenson has been producing shoes since 1866 and was one of the first brand names is ever be registered in the UK. Since then the brand has grown and is now available in number of stockists across the globe.
