Italian fashion house Gucci is to take part in the annual RHS Chelsea Flower Show for the first time with a Fresh Garden inspired

by its iconic Flora motif, which debut in 1966 in homage to actress Grace Kelly.

The brand’s flora print will be brought to life by landscape and garden designer Sarah Eberle, who has designed eight Gold medal-winning gardens at RHS Shows, which will make it one of the gardens to see.

The classic pattern will be showcased in an “innovative, contemporary way” according to the RHS and will feature a “delicate and whimsical composition of flowers, fruit and insects, drawn with naturalistic precision in 37 colours” as a dedication to the four seasons.

To celebrate its participation at the flower show, Gucci will introduce two exclusive Lady Lock handbags in the Flora canvas, which will be exclusive to its Sloane Street store.

The RHS Chelsea Flower show takes place in the Royal Hospital grounds from May 20-24.
