Head of sales at Firetrap leaves company

David Lea, who was the final remaining member of the Firetrap team before the fashion label was acquired by

Sports Direct almost two years ago, has left the company.

He left the company last week, on good terms and is looking to take on a new challenge after working at Firetrap for over 25 years. Lea said that his exit agreement with the company was "amicable," reported Drapers.

When Sports Direct obtain the fashion label out of administration in 2012, over 50 members of the staff were fired. Then in the beginning of 2013, the company moved Firetraps head office to West London, and made over 150 members of staff redundant.
