Heathrow has unveiled plans to open a personal shopping lounge within its new

Terminal 2, which it claims will be the first of its kind in an airport.

The Queen’s Terminal will open to the public on June 4 and will feature a personal shopping lounge that will provide customers with a “comfortable and private space with an accredited stylist”, offering individually tailored sessions free of charge, regardless of ticket type.

In addition to the styling services, the terminal will house John Lewis’s first ever airport store, housing a unique collection of home, fashion and gift ranges from the department store, as well as stores from other British names including Cath Kidston and Ted Baker. The terminal will also be home to luxury fashion houses including Bottega Veneta and Bvlgari, as well as a new restaurant by celebrity chef Heston Blumenthal.

Max Vialou-Clark, retail director at Heathrow, said: “Terminal 2 marks the next step in our quest to provide passengers with the best possible experience when they choose to travel through Heathrow. Heathrow is now the only airport in the world to offer a free Personal Shopping lounge together with a selection of over 140 brands that have been selected especially for our customers.”
