Helen Thompson appointed Regional Director of Ecco

Former Clarks leading lady Helen Thompson has landed a new role as the Regional Director

for Ecco, for regions including Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Prior to joining the team at Ecco, Thompson was the European Regional Director at Clarks, where she oversaw the entire European arm of the business. She joined the Clarks Executive Leadership Team in 2012, where together with three other executives she was responsible for the development and execution of new business strategies.

In her new role at Ecco, Thompson will be working out of the footwear label's EMEA head office in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

“With her wealth of knowledge of the international footwear industry and a proven record of performance in different leadership roles, Helen will be a valuable asset in leading the development of Ecco in the EMEA region,” commented Michel Krol, Executive Vice President of Global Sales at Ecco.
