Hermès ‘most searched’ fashion label in the UK

Luxury fashion label Hermès was the ‘most searched’

for fashion label of 2013 in the UK, according to Bing’s top searches of the year. The French fashion house scooped the top title ahead of Ralph Lauren in second and Gucci in third position.

Burberry came in fourth to take the ‘most searched’ for British fashion label, ahead of Victoria Beckham and Vivienne Westwood, with Michael Kors, Chanel, Hugo Boss and Paul Smith rounding off the top ten.

However, in the US singer-turned-designer Victoria Beckham took the crown for the ‘most searched’ for fashion designer of 2013, probably helped by the launch of her e-commerce in May. Beckham beat out last year’s winner, American designer Michael Kors, who fell to the second most searched designer of the year, while Ralph Lauren took third spot, up a position from 2012.

Whereas in Australia, Louis Vuitton took top spot ahead of Michael Kors, while in Canada the ranking was reversed with Kors winning out against the French fashion house. Chanel continued to be a strong pull in China, and Dolce & Gabbana was in first position in France ahead of Lanvin and Lacoste.

Based on the aggregation of billions of search queries, the Bing Top Searches of 2013 also revealed trends from Australia, Brazil, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, and Spain on everything from ‘most searched’ for celebrity to sport stars and even most popular travel destinations.
