Hunter taps new distribution partner in Japan

Heritage lifestyle label Hunter has announced the start of a new partnership with Itochu Corporation, Japan's third largest corporation
which is based in Umeda.Effective immediately, the agreement coincides with the launch of the brands Spring/Summer 2015 selling season. The partnership between the two companies highlights Hunter's ongoing commitment to the Japanese market, as well as its growth as a global lifestyle brand.
“We are excited about the partnership forged with Itochu Corporation,” said James Seuss, CEO of Hunter. “We see a huge opportunity in Japan and we see Itochu as a key player in furthering Hunter’s development as a global lifestyle brand. As another company with a long heritage and strong core values, this is as a natural partnership for us.”
The joint venture will help the brand expand within Japan and tap into new growth potential. Hunter is set to work with a number of companies controlled by the the Itochu Corporation, including the Itochu Home Fashion Corporation and the Coronet Corporation.
