Industrie to make UK debut

Australian menswear retailer Industrie is set to make its UK debut in London’s Seven

Dials in Covent Garden with the opening of its first store outside Australia.

Launching at the end of September, the 1,234 square foot store on Earlham Street will sit alongside Farrall Menswear, Robbie William’s clothing label, which opened a pop-up boutique earlier this month.

The retailer, which already ships to the UK from its website, has around 70 stores in Australia and its opening in the UK represents the brand’s international expansion push.

Commenting on the Seven Dials appeal for independent brands, Brian Bickell, chief executive of Seven Dials developer Shaftesbury said: “Our tenant mix strategy and active engagement with brands continues to attract some of the most exciting retailers and restaurateurs to Seven Dials.
