French model and muse, Inès de la Fressange is returning

to her signature accessories line after it was acquired by new investors.

Investment fund Calao Finance and Dubai-based group The Luxury Fund, which is a shareholder in Elie Saab, has acquired the brand for an undisclosed sum from François-Louis Vuitton.

In a short statement from the brand, the label confirmed that De la Fressange who founded the company in 1991 will be involved in the artistic direction of the label as well as licensing and public relations, while former Calao Finance advisor, Fabrice Boé, who has held top positions at Lancôme and Hermès, will become president of the brand.

The hope is that with the new investment and De la Fressange back in charge that the fashion and accessories label will develop into an international brand, with Calao Finance estimating that the brand’s year-end retail sales could hit 20 million euros.
