To show that Copenhagen is definitely worth a visit during

the CPH Fashion Week, we've put some inspiring brands and designers in the limelight. NN.07 is one of them and Communication Manager Lincoln Robbin-Coker took some time to answer our questions about this unique 'No Nationality' brand.

"People’s eyebrows tend to rise when they hear we don’t have, and never had, a single black piece in our collections"

Tell me something about the brand NN.07?

NN.07 stands for No Nationality. The brand was founded in 2007 (hence the 07) by Swede Victor Lindh and Dane Ulrik Pedersen. NN07 isn’t about following the latest trends, but about creating our own, often thinking outside the box. We have 3 main lines: men, women and accessories. We’ll soon launch a new line called Directors Cut. Many of our influences come from Japan and the developed vintage culture of Tokyo. We are deadly dedicated to a perfect fit, unique craftsmanship and attention to every detail.

People’s eyebrows tend to rise when they hear we don’t have, and never had a single black piece in our collections. This forces us to work very hard on our color palette, and next season (SS12) is all about earthy to sun-bleached tones.

Where will you show your collection during CPH Fashion Week?

We have managed to create a very nice and familiar atmosphere in our showroom at Snorresgade 22 in Copenhagen. “We show our upcoming collections there, enjoy good food and drinks, and sometimes even dance.....” It’s like home for us. Our clients, who we consider our friends, are always welcome in our showroom.

What's so special about this week and why should people come to Copenhagen during CPH Fashion Week?

It’s without a doubt the most important fashion event in Scandinavia. The environment is fantastic and stylish in a laidback way. People from the industry (brands, buyers, press, fashionistas) make an effort combining pleasure and work. Everyone is in a good mood, which is always nice. You also get to meet old friends, and at times, even foes. There’s a place for everyone in Copenhagen during fashion week.

What's an absolute must see for foreign visitors in Copenhagen? Something people really can’t miss according to you!

I would recommend to stay in the loop by reading the official fashion week magazines and online bulletins, e.g. www.copenhagenfashionweek.com. Be curious, there’s a lot of really interesting things happening.

A lot of activities happen around Kødbyen (meatpacking district). But some advice: don’t party too hard, try to make it through the whole week looking your absolute best...
