International Jewellery London (IJL), the leading UK jewellery

trade event, has opened with a remarkable 11% increase in exhibitors compared to last year. The show features a selection of jewellery manufacturers and also offers free seminar programmes featuring key industry speakers.

The line-up of leading brands and designers include Shaun Leane, SHO Fine Jewellery, Rachel Galley, Francesca Sibylla Augusta, Paul Kennedy and Hot Diamonds – who are celebrating their 10th anniversary at the show and a return to exhibiting after a notable long absence. New collections and new companies are being launched proving that the IJL is a key event in the industry calendar.

Sam Willoughby, IJL Event Manager, commented: “The event provides the opportunity to see a fantastic range of top brands and designers, which attracts key buyers and retailers. Our complimentary seminar programme is unrivalled and provides business advice and insightful trends forecasts. The show also leads the way in terms of supporting new and emerging design talent which is essential for nurturing the industry – our Bright Young Gems and KickStarters are shining examples of this. In its 54th year, IJL is the flagship UK jewellery event and delivers an excellent opportunity for the industry to network, get inspiration – and ultimately to do successful business.”

IJL runs from 5- 8 September 2010 at Earls Court.
