Irish fashion entrepreneur Paula Rowan has resourced to

crowd funding site Kick Starter to raise the investment she needs to boost her high-end leather gloves business: 30,000 pounds to take her label globally.

The Dublin-based designer has decided to attempt crowd funding to start her “glove affair” beyond the Irish market, as she explains directly to investors interested in backing her project.

With her goal set at 30,000 pounds, Paula Rowan currently counts with 12 investors that have pulled of a total of a thousand pounds and still has another month to fundraise the total amount.

Potential investors can bid from as little as five pounds to be included in her special thanks page, to over 4,750 pounds for an embellished pair of “Ronnie Wood” gloves with 26 diamonds with a total carat weight of 0.52, in an 18 carat white gold setting.
