Tom Ford, Abercrombie Kids, and Alice Temperley are allsearching for shops in Mayfair, pushing the rents up in the roads off Bond Street.
Bond Street has long been known as the home of luxury in central London, but now a clutch of adjacent streets are on the hit list for designer brands. Anthony Selwyn, a retail director at Savills, said: "While Mount, Conduit and Bruton Streets have been established for some time, there are now four or five other streets in Mayfair competing for the latest designer interest. This has resulted in significant rental growth with much more potential to come."
Some of the UK's most influential fashion boutiques can be found in Mayfair, such as the eponymous Dover Street Market, as well as contemporary labels Marc Jacobs, Vanessa Bruno, APC and beauty brand Aesop.
